What are you looking forward to the most in your role?
Learning a new financial system and working with the Primary care network, implementing and improving systems to help them to provide a valued service.
Before joining the organisation, what other experience have you had?
I have worked as an Accountant in an Acute Trust, as a Finance Lead for Community Services and Mass Vaccination Programme.
How does your role assist Warrington GP Practices?
To provide financial support and advice to the budget holders, ensuring the financial data is accurate and transparent, to assist them to make informed decision impacting the service provision.
Hobbies and Interests
Spending free time with my three, lovely teenage children and husband, mostly trying new restaurants, travelling and shopping. I enjoy picking up tools to do simple DIY jobs around the house and buying and selling shares. Sadly, my share portfolio is making a loss, all thanks to COVID.
What fact about you might surprise people the most?
I attended interview for a finance post in a prison but after watching the daily checks and search that the employees must follow to enter and exit the workplace, it was a blessing I didn’t get the job😉.
